Are we paying to kill our own sons?

As the days goes by the number of death report seems to be getting larger by the months. We have sent our sons and daughters to a foreign country to " fight evil ", well that's one of the reasons we were told by our government. We had gone there with a motive of " Stopping Iraq from becoming a nuclear threat: to the World ", now that none is found, suddenly our motive has changed into " Spread democracy ". We are spending billions and billions of dollars to hear news like " bombing has killed 5 U.S. troops " or " innocent Iraqi civilians were killed....". 50 U.S. soldiers were killed in the month of April, record high in 7 months sense September, whereas 65 U.S. troops were killed and many were badly wounded. Not to leave out the Iraqi ( whose land we happen to be fighting in and fighting against ). 1,080 Iraqi civilians were killed that's about 36 people every a day, less than the previous month, 1,269 people. Going to war has cost us money, staying there ( where we are not even welcome ) is costing us even more money and more lives of our soldiers. Everything, which are being supplied to our soldiers is costing big money and the dignity of this nation around the world. Why are we fighting, at this point i am not even sure if the man himself can answer that question: Mr.President. The money we are spending can be used for better causes then to play the " World Police ". We can turn our economy around, make the U.S. a better to than to continue this foolish egocentric war, killing people, and destroying our own economy. It's about time out troops come back home, where they belong!
